Costing

Project

It is critical to arrive at a budget for the project at an early stage (even if subject to change as the project evolves).

To assist in this process the RIAI Cost Guidelines can be a useful starting point (please note these are current of 2016 and there are caveats and exclusions such as VAT, planning fees, disbursement etc.) See more info

Professional Fees

Professional fees are typically a percentage of the overall project cost and depend on size and complexity of the project. In addition the services of specialists such as Engineer or Quantity Surveyor via separate appointment may be advised.

For certain limited scoped projects a fixed or hourly fee is more appropriate.
